Dr. Leonid Pogorelyuk Joins the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering Department as New Assistant Professor

Rensselaer's Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering department is delighted to welcome Dr. Leonid Pogorelyuk.  Dr. Pogorelyuk 's research focuses on controls and information theory, orbital mechanics, optics, discovery and imaging of exoplanets.

Jie Lian Appointed as the William Weightman Walker Professor of Polymer Engineering

Jie is a prolific and impactful researcher who has made significant research contributions across multiple areas related to advanced materials and energy that have opened up new avenues of exploration.  He is an integral part of the MANE department and Rensselaer community serving as a steward of our Nuclear Engineering curriculum as ABET Director, collaborating and building teams across the institute, and mentoring our junior faculty.  Jie is an excellent teacher who has made
